Did you know that every student at Diamond has an online school account? They’re essentially Google accounts that are managed by MCPS.

Using their student account, your child can log in from home to access all sorts of websites and other school-related resources. Many students at Diamond are already using Google Classroom and Google Drive to coordinate assignments and do schoolwork.

Your child’s student account username is their student ID, followed by It will look something like this:

If you don’t know it, your child’s student ID is shown on their report card.

Diamond students use Chromebooks at school, and we highly recommend using the Chrome browser — or better yet a Chromebook — which will configure itself accordingly when your child logs in.

Note that this requires logging into Chrome itself on PC and Mac (not just logging into Google) and turning on sync to import all of your child’s bookmarks and settings. If you’re not sure how to do that, just watch this video walkthrough.
